Classroom Preparation
Like most English language students, our AEP students listen to audio and video clips in the classroom. But if we really believe in 'learning by doing', students need exposure to real lectures. That is why every term our students attend two live lectures.Preparation for each lecture starts the class before, as students develop and expand their knowledge of the lecture topic by doing research and classroom discussion. Students will take notes during the lecture, and do follow-up activities in the class which follows the lecture. Lectures are given in one of our large meeting rooms or in the auditorium. In some cases, the lecturer is a leading world figure in his subject area. The following video clips give you just a sample of what the lecture series is about.
