As easy as 1 2 3!

Choose a Starting Date
AEP classes run for six weeks, 8:00 am to 12:00 noon. There are often interesting other classes which run 12:30 to 3:00, and there is homework. Studying in the AEP program is a full-time commitment, much like going to a university. Your first task is to find a date you can begin to study from the 'term dates' in the following table:| Term | Term Dates | Placement Test Dates |
| 1 | January 7 - February 15 | |
| 2 | February 25 - April 4 | |
| Songkran break | ||
| 3 | April 21 - May 30 | |
| 4 | June 9 - July 17 | (course in progress) |
| 5 | July 28 - September 5 | July 15 or July 22 |
| 6 | September 15 - October 24 | |
| 7 | November 3 - December 12 | |
| Christmas-New Year's break |
One-stop Registration
Registration for AEP is easy. Once you have your starting date, come to the Rajdamri campus (see map) and register for the placement test. The fee is 500 baht, and tests start promptly at 9:30 am. You can register for the test any weekday from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm, up to the morning of the test itself. If you plan to register late, please phone (02-252-8170 ext. 2012) to make sure there is space.On the day of the test, plan to arrive well before 9:30. Once the test begins, new students are not admitted. The placement test is in two parts, a 75 minute test of listening, reading and writing; and then a 10-15 minute interview. After you take the test, you can go on the optional tour of the AUA facilities which starts at 12:05 noon. Placement tests are posted by 1:00 o'clock, and you may register that same day. Placement test results are valid for one year, and registration is open until the day classes start. It's best to register early, as there is a maximum limit for each class.
If you miss the placement test, contact the AEP secretary in the Academic office and request an individual placement test. There may be an extra fee for such tests.
