This elective course provides English teachers with an understanding of the English sound system and why Thai students have difficulty with hearing and speaking English clearly. Teachers will develop presentation and correction techniques to deal with pronunciation problems. They will also learn to help students listen more efficiently and effectively to spoken English in face-to-face situations and in a variety of popular media.
