Special Courses
Special Courses provide an opportunity to supplement study in the regular program, to continue study after Level 15 or for new-AUA students to study a special subject. Courses focus on specific language skills or purposes. (30 hours)
General Writing
The program focuses on writing paragraphs and essays for different purposes. Students learn to write texts that describe, explain, offer opinions, persuade, analyze, compare and contrast. Students also develop their ability to use appropriate grammar and vocabulary, to link sentences and paragraphs, and to organize their writing effectively. In addition, students learn how to develop ideas, make outlines, and edit their writing in accordance with the writing purpose
