It was in August 1986 that the Phitsanulok Branch of AUA opened its first classes on the campus of the then Pibulsongkram Teachers College in this city in the North ofThailand. In those days we only taught the AUA Regular Conversation Course which concentrates on the three basic skills of listening, reading and speaking. Over the 22 years since those early days we have widened the number of courses we can offer the people of Phitsanulok. For example we now teach Reading and Writing Courses. In the near future we intend to offer the academic sector of the city, as well as the general public, an English Proficiency Diagnostic Test followed by a Standardized English Testing Preparation Course which will allow the student to strengthen any weaker points in their English, which were revealed during the Diagnostic Test.

On the 14th of March 1992 the AUA Phitsanulok Branch conducted its first Paper based TOEFL Test on behalf of The Educational Testing Service of the United States. Since then we have tested hundreds of people wishing to continue their academic studies overseas. today we now find that AUA Phitsanulok is the only TOEFL Test Center in Thailand north of Nakhon Si Thammarat and Songkhla.

Now, in the year 2008, AUA Phitsanulok Branch, after a period of time on the Airport Road Campus of Naresuan University, has completed the full cycle and is now once again reunited with the now Pibulsongkram Rajabhat University on the Wang Chan Campus
