The AUA Placement Test
What is the AUA placement test?
This test covers the areas of listening, reading, and language use. The best thing about this test is that nobody fails. Everybody passes, so please don't worry.
Why do I have to take the test?
Because AUA has courses ranging from Pre-level to Level 15, we have to make sure that students enroll in a class that fits their abilities. We don't want students studying in a class that is too easy or difficult for them. The test helps us ensure that students at AUA get the best English language education while at AUA.
How do I register?
You can register for the test at the Administration Office.
What do I do after the test?
The test takes about 1 hour. After the test, you can wait for the results to be posted on the board near the office. Once you have checked your result, you can register for a course at the Administration Office, and buy your textbook from the bookstore. If you don't want to wait for your result, you can come in later to check your result. but please don't phoneup for your result .
Who do I talk to if I have any questions?
If you are not sure about something regarding the test, please come to the Academic Office and speak to a supervisor. He or she will be able to answer your questions and give you advice regarding your studies.
Who do I do if I'm not happy with my test result?
Please come and speak to a supervisor in the Academic Office. We will have a chat with you and see if we can help find the correct level for you
