All our trainers are certified by SIT after completing a rigorous
training program. This training is supervised by accredited Trainers of
Trainers (ToTs) who themselves have been certified by the School for
International Training in Vermont.
All of our trainers have extensive experience as ESL/EFL teachers and trainers in Asia and throughout the world.
As well as our resident trainers, AUA regularly recruits trainers from
abroad. A full list of SIT trainers can be found at http://www.sit.edu/tesolcert/trainers/index.html

Nationality: American
E-mail: lead-dr@auathailand.org
Education: BA, German/Math from Saint Olaf College; MA, International
Education from University of Minnesota; MA, Teaching English as a

Brief Bio
I
began teaching EFL in Central Java, Indonesia in 1993. Since then, I've
also taught undergraduate and graduate level classes in Arizona and
Thailand. For a few years, I took a brief jump to the field of
International Education (study abroad program administration), but
returned to the field of teaching English because I missed being in the
classroom with students! Recently, as an English Language Fellow, I
taught at two universities in Southern Thailand and led teacher
development programs throughout Thailand. I am currently a Lead Teacher
in the Teacher Education Department at AUA Bangkok where I teach core
English courses and teacher development courses. In my free time, I
enjoy photography, music, swimming, relaxing with friends, and, of
course, travels in Asia!
