UPDATE: HOW SAFE IS BANGKOK?
Recent
political disturbances in Bangkok have raised concerns
about safety in Thailand. Bangkok remains one of the world's
safest cities. Any demonstrations are extremely localized in nature and
do not impact
daily life at all. Life goes on as peacefully as ever. The Thai people
remain extraordinarily hospitable.
