The Student Learning Center at AUA provides members with a range of opportunities for language learning. Anyone over 15 can be a member. You do not need to be an AUA student to join.

For General English development, we have self-study programs for Reading, Writing, Listening, and Pronunciation. Each program has a number of routes that allow you to focus on what you want to do. Click on the skill button on the left to find out more.

For special areas like Business English and Examinations use the menu on the left to find out more about each program.

When you study in the Student Learning Center:

you are in charge of your own learning.
you are not dependent on teachers to tell you what to do.

The SLC is a Self-Access Center which means you are free to decide:

what you want to study.
when you want to study.
how often and how long you want to study.
what ways of studying work best for you.

Of course, everyone needs help sometimes, so SLC counselors are available to:

give advice.
help you set up your personal self-study program.
answer your questions.
