M.L. Thanisa Teresa Choombala is Head of Academics and Deputy Executive Director at AUA Language Center, with 20 years of experience in language education, communication training, curriculum design, and academic leadership. She holds a Master of Arts in Language and Communication from the National Institute of Development Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics and Applied Linguistics, with a minor in Psychology, from Carleton University, Canada.

Her career spans higher education, publishing, teacher development, and public communication. She previously served as Director of the Language Center at the Asian Institute of Technology and as an adjunct faculty member at leading Thai universities. An author and editor of English-learning books, she has also designed and delivered programs in public speaking, presentation skills, academic and workplace communication, and intercultural communication. She spent 13 years as a news anchor for Radio Thailand, bringing extensive experience in vocal delivery and audience engagement.
